ARK CAT SANCTUARY ASKS PUBLIC TO CONSIDER ADOPTING A NEW BEST FRIEND DURING PETSMART CHARITIES NATIONAL ADOPTION WEEK
Adoption Event to Take Place at PetSmart Flagstaff on October 20 – 26
October 19, 2025 – Flagstaff, AZ – Adopting a pet can bring special joy and companionship to people. Ark Cat Sanctuary is proud to partner with PetSmart Charities® to bring adoptable pets to Flagstaff PetSmart in support of National Adoption Week, taking place October 20th – 26th, 2025.
During the in-store event, Ark Cat Sanctuary invites the public to spend time with adoptable cats and kittens. With space for meet-and-greets, potential new pet parents can take advantage of space for meet-and-greets to find just the right match.
Staff and volunteers will be available to help potential new pet parents, and visitors can spend time with the cats and kittens available for adoption. With their special brand of unconditional love, adopted pets can help improve the health and wellness of people. Pets get their people off the couch and make ideal colleagues for remote workers. Caring for pets also fosters values for children such as responsibility and selflessness.

Featured Adoptable Pair: Sugar Daddy & Sugar Baby
Meet Sugar Daddy (male, orange tabby) and Sugar Baby (male, brown tabby) — a bonded pair who came to Ark Cat Sanctuary as strays. After a little TLC, these two sweet boys are now thriving and looking for a home together. They’re gentle, affectionate, and happiest when curled up next to each other (or their favorite human) for a long nap.
